Photos, Impressions, and First Overview of NOC Weiden
Those looking for photos of the NOC are usually not just searching for a single image, but for a first impression of the entire place: How does the facade look, how clear are the levels, what stores are there, and how modern is the atmosphere? The official website is particularly helpful for this, as it not only shows the building but also makes the structure of the house visible with a center plan and store finder. The city of Weiden describes the NOC as an urban gallery in the city center, located between an established shopping street and the old town. The project partner additionally emphasizes the facade architecture, which reminds of Weiden's identity as a porcelain city. This makes the center not appear as an isolated building on the outskirts, but as a conscious part of urban development. This urban embedding is an important reason why images and impressions of the NOC are often sought: The building is part of a larger cityscape, not just a single shopping location. ([weiden.de](https://www.weiden.de/fileadmin/user_upload/D_Wirtschaft-Planen-Bauen/D01_Wirtschaftsstandort/standortbroschuere.pdf))
Even inside, the first impression is designed for clarity and quality of stay. The official description mentions relaxation zones, gastronomy concepts, and lounge areas on the ground floor and the first upper floor. So when viewing images of the center, one sees not only retail spaces but also areas designed to make the stay more pleasant. Particularly interesting is that the NOC is not presented as a classic retail center with purely functional paths, but as a place where one can shop, take a break, and meet. This mix explains why the search for photos is so closely linked to questions about the atmosphere, architecture, and pathways in the building. The official presentation thus provides a fairly clear impression in advance: The NOC aims to be an urban meeting point that connects everyday paths with shopping and gastronomy. Thalia in NOC Weiden: Books, Pickup, and Opening Hours
A particularly frequently searched anchor point in the NOC is Thalia, as the bookstore serves many users as a clear orientation point. On the official Thalia page, the branch is listed as Thalia Weiden – NOC Nordoberpfalz Center with the address Macerata-Platz 1 in 92637 Weiden in the Oberpfalz. According to Thalia, the bookstore has been located in the NOC since 26.09.2019. This is important for classification, as Thalia is not just any store in the center, but has been part of the overall offering since the building's opening. The opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 09:30 to 19:00, thus within the core opening hours of the center. For inquiries about books Thalia Weiden NOC Nordoberpfalz Center, this mix of specific location, fixed times, and well-known brand is the reason why the branch is so frequently accessed. ([thalia.de](https://www.thalia.de/buchhandlung/5537?msockid=39f599c13dfa641a11878f543cc565d9))
Content-wise, Thalia fits very well with the profile of the center. The official NOC overview lists Thalia in the category of books, newspapers, and stationery, while the center overall relies on a broad mix of industries. The Thalia page also describes that customers can pick up online orders in the bookstore and that assistance with tolino eReaders is offered. This makes Thalia in the NOC not just a classic bookstore, but a service point for book lovers, digital devices, and gift ideas. In connection with the central location of the center, this is particularly practical, as a book purchase can be combined with other errands in the city center. Precisely for this reason, searches often include combinations like Thalia Weiden NOC Nordoberpfalz Center photos or Thalia Weiden NOC Nordoberpfalz Center reviews: users want to know not only if the branch exists but also how it fits into the entire center. Parking, Access, and Accessibility at NOC Weiden
Access is one of the most important points at the NOC, as the center is located right in the city center and is supposed to be very car- and public transport-friendly. According to the official contact page, a parking garage with over 400 parking spaces is directly adjacent to the shopping center. For navigation, the NOC provides the address Wolframstraße 4, 92637 Weiden, while the actual location address is Macerata-Platz 1. Those arriving by public transport benefit from the immediate proximity to the central bus station; according to the NOC, the center is accessible by every bus line, and it is only a few minutes from the train station to the center. This combination of central city location, large parking garage, and public transport connection makes the NOC attractive for spontaneous visits as well as for planned errands. ([noc-weiden.de](https://noc-weiden.de/kontakt/))
Practical accessibility at the NOC also includes a clear focus on accessibility. The official website describes the center as barrier-free from parking to toilets. The parking garage has sufficient disabled parking spaces, and the basement features modern sanitary facilities with a separate family area including a changing table as well as barrier-free WCs for wheelchair users. Additionally, the center mentions a changing room by the toilets, a parking machine with payment options in cash or by card, and bicycle racks around the building. Even pets are allowed on a leash according to the NOC. These details are crucial in everyday life as they make the visit manageable and relaxed. Those searching for noc weiden parking, noc weiden access, or noc weiden accessibility want exactly such concrete information: Where do I park, how do I get into the building, and what support can I find on site? The NOC answers these questions very pragmatically. ([noc-weiden.de](https://noc-weiden.de/das-center/))
Shops, Gastronomy, and Center Plan at NOC Nordoberpfalz Center
The NOC thrives not only on its location but especially on its mix of shops and leisure offerings. The official center overview shows categories such as fashion, beauty, department store, books, furnishing and gifts, gastronomy, shoes, jewelry and watches, sports, fitness and wellness, toys, and services. Notable brands include TK Maxx, Jack & Jones, New Yorker, Olymp & Hades, Tally Weijl, Rituals, Glammy Nails, Mai Nails, Tedi, Woolworth, Deichmann, Bijou Brigitte, OROVIVO, Blue Brixx, Coool! by Kiddieland, Fair Fitness, move., Momento – A Schaller Café, Tea Motion, and Vietnam Gourmet. This variety makes it clear that the NOC is not tailored to a single user profile but addresses different target groups: fashion buyers, families, book lovers, sports enthusiasts, and people who want to eat or drink coffee in between. This breadth is relevant for inquiries about photos, reviews, and location details, as visitors want to assess in advance whether the trip is worthwhile. ([noc-weiden.de](https://noc-weiden.de/das-center/))
The center plan is also important for orientation, as it shows the NOC as a building with multiple levels and clear functional distribution. In the basement, among other things, are Woolworth, Tea Motion, Vietnam Gourmet, Böhmischer Traum, and the sanitary area; on the ground floor are Thalia and Momento; on the upper levels, among others, Tedi, Fair Fitness, and other shops are located. This structure helps visitors quickly find their way around the center and makes the NOC a place with understandable internal logic instead of an unclear mall atmosphere. It is also practical that the NOC states on its official website a core opening from Monday to Saturday between 09:30 and 19:00, while the café Momento opens as early as 08:00. For the center management, Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 16:00 is indicated. So if you plan a visit, you can align not only individual shops but also the entire daily schedule accordingly. ([noc-weiden.de](https://noc-weiden.de/centerplan/))
Service, Opening Hours, and Practical Details for the Visit
Besides the shops, the service offering is an important reason why the NOC functions in Weiden in everyday life. The official website mentions center vouchers, center information via steles in the building, on-site center management, lounge areas on the ground floor and first upper floor, bicycle racks around the center, and a photo booth in the basement under the escalator near the passenger elevators. Such details may seem unspectacular at first glance, but they are extremely important for the use of an inner-city center. Those who need a passport photo spontaneously, want to take a break, or wish to give a voucher as a gift will find a range of small services at the NOC that make the visit meaningful beyond just shopping. The fact that dogs on a leash are allowed in the center further emphasizes the practical character of the location. The NOC is thus less an anonymous mall than a functional city center with clear support offerings. ([noc-weiden.de](https://noc-weiden.de/das-center/))
The opening hours support this impression. The core opening hours of the NOC are Monday to Saturday from 09:30 to 19:00, while individual stores may deviate from this. The center management is available on weekdays, and the café Momento opens earlier than the rest of the center operations. The official website also points out that individual stores may have different opening hours. This is important for visitors, as it allows for more flexible planning of the stay: one can already have coffee early in the morning, later buy books at Thalia, and then combine the rest of the city center with a parking space directly at the center. This mix of longer opening hours, central location, and various service offerings is a significant part of the NOC profile and explains why the center is perceived not only as a shopping place but also as a practical everyday location. ([noc-weiden.de](https://noc-weiden.de/das-center/))
Reviews, Search Interest, and Why the NOC Stands Out in Weiden
The fact that the NOC is often searched for reviews, photos, and location information is no coincidence. The center fulfills several roles simultaneously: it is a shopping place, a bookstore location, a meeting point, a parking garage user center, and an urban traffic hub. The submitted rating of 3.9 stars from 2,258 reviews shows that many people have already had their own experiences with the building and incorporate these into their search for orientation. Those looking for impressions before a visit usually want to know if the center is clear, how the pathways work, how parking is organized, and whether the mix of shops fits their needs. This is precisely why search terms like noc nordoberpfalz center reviews or noc nordoberpfalz center photos play such a significant role. The NOC provides plenty of touchpoints for this: a central city location, a large number of shops, visible leisure areas, and concrete service offerings. ([noc-weiden.de](https://noc-weiden.de/das-center/))
Historically, the center is also exciting. According to project information, the NOC opened on 26.09.2019, after the building was constructed on the site of the former Hertie department store. The city of Weiden describes the NOC as a central facility in the city center between the established shopping street and the old town, while the project partner emphasizes the impact of the center as a meeting point and urban gallery. For Weiden, the NOC is thus more than just a shopping center, as it strengthens the city center, brings frequency to a central district, and connects modern trading forms with the developed cityscape. So when searching for the NOC, one often looks for not just an address but a piece of urban logic: Where can I park, where can I get books, where can I find fashion, and how quickly can I get back to the pedestrian zone? The NOC provides very concrete answers to these questions with its location, structure, and industry mix.
The NOC is pretty but quite void of people and feels quite dead. Pretty architecture and a good selection of stores. Maybe it's so empty because of the prominence of online shopping.

Has a variety of stores to shop from and restaurants to eat from. Everything you could want in a mall. Even the location is great bc once you're done shopping you can walk a block in any direction for outdoor restaurants and other entertainment.

Pretty good mall for the area. Parking by the bus station is pretty nice. The only thing that is discouraging is people smoking near the entrances of mall. Otherwise, it’s a pretty nice place.
