Eventhof Hagler | Wedding & Photos
The Eventhof Hagler is a lovingly managed wedding and event location in the Upper Palatinate that combines the charm of a protected four-sided courtyard with the unique possibility of an outdoor wedding in the forest. Located in Oberwildenau, a district of Luhe-Wildenau, you can quickly reach the location via the A93 and the nearby A6; those arriving by train have it particularly convenient, as the Luhe-Wildenau train station is only about 200 meters away. The courtyard is exclusively reserved for you during a celebration, so you have the place to yourselves. For weddings, the combination of the indoor barn, covered outdoor barn, and courtyard is particularly suitable: champagne reception, coffee & cake or a sundowner outdoors, dinner in the barn, and a lively party – everything is possible. Up to 100 guests can celebrate here; depending on the seating arrangement, 100–120 seats can be realized. The drinks and service team come directly from the Eventhof, while you remain flexible with catering. The result is a place where your personal wishes are at the center and where small details are thoughtfully considered.
Wedding at Eventhof Hagler: Location, Atmosphere, and Service
Those who marry at Eventhof Hagler choose a wedding location that combines authenticity, intimacy, and high-level service. The four-sided courtyard is designed so that you can celebrate undisturbed – a feature that becomes particularly noticeable during emotional moments such as the first look, the outdoor ceremony, or the cutting of the cake. The heart of the venue is the indoor barn, a meticulously renovated space with warm wooden surfaces that creates air and overview thanks to its gallery level. Here, a complete and modern setup for 100 people is already available; tables and chairs are included, and covers are not needed. The free seating option allows the room concept to be adapted to your dinner setup – whether long tables, round tables, or a combination. The covered outdoor barn is particularly atmospheric. It is suitable for the champagne reception, coffee & cake, or an aperitif, and it remains a safe retreat outdoors in changeable weather. The inner courtyard connects both areas and creates a lively axis for encounters, group photos, and small surprises in between.
For service, the location relies on its own, well-coordinated team. The Eventhof organizes the complete beverage service – from the champagne reception to coffee and wine to long drinks and spirits, which you can put together in packages or tailored to your wishes. This focus ensures reliable support throughout the day, including plate service and banquets. When it comes to food, you remain free: The Eventhof works with regional catering partners and provides you with a recommendation list; external caterers are possible upon consultation. This combination – clear responsibilities for service and the freedom to choose your culinary style – makes the location attractive for individual weddings.
For your planning, calm is factored in: Setup is possible on Thursday and Friday from about 4 PM to 9 PM. On Saturday, last deliveries can occur between 9 AM and 12 PM. Dismantling begins leisurely on Sunday from around 2 PM; alternatively, Monday from about 4 PM is also available. This allows enough time to set up decoration, stationery, and technology calmly and to pack everything away at the end without haste. Another plus point is the clear regulation of playing times: In the indoor area, the band or DJ can play until 2 AM; in the outdoor area, music is possible until 10 PM. These framework conditions create planning security – for you, your service providers, and good neighborly relations.
Photos and Pictures from Eventhof Hagler: This is What Your Celebration Looks Like
Those searching for “Eventhof Hagler photos” or “pictures from Eventhof Hagler” primarily want to see two things: How does the courtyard look in daylight and in the evening, and how can the individual areas be used for a wedding. The official website shows the mix of indoor barn, covered outdoor barn, and inner courtyard in different lighting moods – from golden evening sun to warm candlelight. On social media channels, you will also find impressions from real celebrations: arrangements of long tables, round tables, or casual lounge zones; examples of wedding arches and floral decorations; as well as close-up shots of candy bars, signposts, and the little things that make a celebration personal. Particularly inspiring are photo series that consider the daily schedule – for example, the champagne reception in the outdoor barn, a dinner in the indoor barn with a view of the gallery, and a later party that brings the wooden ambiance to life.
For couples planning an outdoor wedding in the forest, photos from the forest clearing are essential. They show the natural backdrop of oaks, pines, and firs, the clear pathways, and the option to arrange up to 90 seats in sustainable seating. Such pictures greatly help to visualize the day's drama: arrival of guests with a short walk, the bride's arrival, the ceremony in partial shade, a group photo among the trees, and a subsequent drink at a discreetly integrated beverage station. Those who study the visual language attentively will quickly recognize that at Eventhof, aesthetics and function are considered together. The gallery level in the indoor barn is also valuable in photos because it provides a “top-down” perspective – ideal for wide shots of the dinner or the first dance.
A practical tip for your photo planning: Use the setup times on Thursday or Friday to do short light tests with your photo and video team. This way, you can see how the evening sun falls into the courtyard, where candles or fairy lights add extra depth, and which spots serve as quiet backdrops for portraits. Since the courtyard is exclusively yours during your celebration, you have the freedom for such trial runs. Documented events, such as culinary or wine events at the venue, also provide inspiration, showing how harmoniously culinary, music, and light connect in the ensemble of the four-sided courtyard.
Directions to Oberwildenau: Parking at the Courtyard and Train Connection
Accessibility is a central criterion when choosing a location – here, the Eventhof Hagler scores with its location at the entrance to Oberwildenau, a district of Luhe-Wildenau. Take the exit “Luhe-Wildenau” via the A93; the proximity to the A6 expands the travel options from various directions in the Upper Palatinate, the Upper Franconia, and the Nuremberg region. For navigation devices, the address is Im Dorf 1, 92706 Luhe-Wildenau. Due to the direct motorway connection, travel times are well calculable, which is pleasant for both service providers and guests. As orientation values, the location mentions, for example, Amberg at about 35 kilometers or about 30 minutes of travel time, as well as Neustadt an der Waldnaab at about 19 kilometers or about 14 minutes of travel time.
Parking spaces are available directly at the Eventhof or in the immediate vicinity. For those arriving by train, the Luhe-Wildenau train station is a real relief: It is only about 200 meters from the courtyard and can be reached quickly on foot. This facilitates planning for guests who do not wish to come by car and provides a convenient option for the later journey home. Especially for larger groups, this creates flexible arrangements – some guests park at the courtyard, others come by train, and others form carpooling groups and use the proximity to the motorway.
For logistical processes such as deliveries of floristry, cakes, or photo booths, the defined setup times are helpful. On Thursday and Friday, decoration can begin in the late afternoon; last deliveries on Saturday morning are scheduled within a clear time window. Those who book service providers from the region benefit from short distances and proven processes. The location's recommended partners know the local conditions – from access to the indoor barn to the best place for a champagne reception in the covered outdoor barn to discreet technical management. This keeps the journey relaxed for everyone involved, and the day can start smoothly for your guests.
Forest Wedding at Eventhof Hagler: Outdoor Ceremony in the Fairy Tale Forest
The forest wedding is a special feature of Eventhof Hagler and for many couples the reason to say “I do” right here. The outdoor ceremony takes place in a forest clearing, framed by oaks, pines, and firs. The backdrop appears natural and simultaneously clearly structured, allowing the ceremony to take place in a calm atmosphere. Up to 90 seats are planned with sustainable seating, enabling even larger groups to experience the moment comfortably. A discreetly integrated beverage station is possible, allowing guests to toast in the forest right after the ceremony. Parking options are available near the forest location, simplifying logistics for older guests, families with children, or service providers.
For the design of the forest ceremony, the Eventhof works with a dedicated decoration and floral expert. This is due to the legal requirements that apply to events in the forest. This specialized planning helps protect the natural environment while ensuring an aesthetic and safe presentation – from the wedding arch to the rows of chairs to lantern arrangements. A professionally thought-out Plan B is included: Should rain threaten, the ceremony can be moved to the courtyard, and the indoor barn offers a weather-independent stage for the rest of the day. The Eventhof requests that the final decision of forest or courtyard be made by the wedding week so that all parties involved – including caterers, music, and photo teams – can plan accordingly.
Dramaturgically, the forest wedding is also well thought out. A possible sequence: reception of guests at the courtyard, a short joint transfer to the forest, ceremony under the canopy of leaves, group photo in front of the clearing, return to the outdoor barn for the champagne reception, and finally dinner in the indoor barn. This clear tripartition – nature, courtyard, barn – creates varied spaces for photography and music and gives your celebration a lively dynamic. The mix of open sky and the sheltered framework of a four-sided courtyard is an experience that many guests will remember for a long time. Not least because of this, the forest wedding is a unique feature that the Eventhof consistently develops further.
Capacity, Seating, and Hall Plan Options
The Eventhof Hagler answers the capacity question transparently: A booking requires at least 50 adult guests, and you can celebrate with up to 100 people. Depending on the seating arrangement, 100–120 seats can be implemented, allowing programs with speeches, bands, and dance floors to be realistically planned. A complete setup for 100 people – tables and chairs – is available on-site; you do not need covers. The free seating gives you creative freedom: long tables for a family feel, round tables for plenty of eye contact, or a mix that incorporates lounge elements. Thanks to the gallery level in the indoor barn, sightlines can also be created, which are very popular with photographers and videographers.
The covered outdoor barn complements the hall with a weather-independent outdoor area – ideal for a champagne reception, coffee & cake, or later breakout moments. The inner courtyard connects both zones and serves as a stage for rituals such as the cutting of the cake, a sparkling photo with sparklers, or a small wine tasting. For the outdoor ceremony in the forest, up to 90 seats are available; this allows all guests to follow the ceremony seated. A rough “hall plan” thus emerges from the ensemble of the three areas: forest clearing for the ceremony, covered outdoor barn for reception and transitions, indoor barn for dinner and party. This creates clear paths, short setup times, and a coherent dramaturgy.
Technically, much is organized by the Eventhof: The in-house service team takes care of the beverage dispensing and banquet service. An in-house outdoor sound system can be used for subtle music during coffee & cake; outdoor music ends at 10 PM. Indoors, the band or DJ can play until 2 AM. Such regulations facilitate the planning of the day's program and coordination with your service providers. For caterers, the location provides a recommendation list; external caterers are possible, but a flat fee applies for non-listed providers. This structure ensures quality assurance while still giving you culinary freedom. If you want a photo-oriented planning approach, you can work out from the photo impressions on the website and social media channels where the head table, wedding arch, or photo booth work best – in the indoor barn, the gallery is a real plus for that.
Booking, Prices, and Important Rules
The Eventhof Hagler focuses on personal coordination when booking. The first step is an inquiry with your desired date and rough guest count; this is followed by a phone call in which services, date, prices, and wishes are discussed. If everything fits, a viewing appointment is scheduled. For calculation, the location provides an orientation figure: For location, drinks, and service, the range usually lies between about 80 and 150 euros per person, depending on the package. The exact amount depends on your choices – such as the selection of drink packages from the champagne reception to coffee to wine, long drinks, and spirits. In the off-season, i.e., in the months of January to April and in November, the venue rental is reduced by about 30 percent. This tiered pricing allows for high-quality celebrations within different budgets.
Important rules ensure reliability: The beverage service is entirely managed by the Eventhof, ensuring quality, dispensing, and service come from a single source. External service staff is not permitted; caterers bring their team for the food. For the forest ceremony, a fixed decoration and floral concept applies due to regulations, overseen by a specialized contact person. Music is allowed indoors until 2 AM, outdoors until 10 PM. Due to the clearly defined setup and dismantling times – Thursday and Friday in the late afternoon to evening, Saturday morning deliveries, dismantling on Sunday afternoon or Monday afternoon – your celebration remains stress-free. The principle behind this is: The more relaxed the hosts, the more beautiful the celebration. The exclusive use of the four-sided courtyard contributes to this, as does the proximity to the motorway and train station, simplifying logistics and guest arrival.
In addition to the wedding focus, the Eventhof also hosts special evenings where culinary delights, music, and wines take center stage. Such events demonstrate how well the courtyard serves as a stage for culinary and cultural formats and provide further ideas for your program design. Whether you are planning an intimate celebration with 60 guests or the full house with around 100 guests: the combination of forest clearing, outdoor barn, and indoor barn allows you to structure your day dramaturgically and visually – with short paths, clear processes, and a service team that works reliably in the background. This creates the framework for a celebration that feels like you and that your guests will remember for a long time.

An absolute dream! We are still overwhelmed by our special day and want to sincerely thank the entire team at Eventhof Hagler, especially Sabrina and Alex, for their uncomplicated, loving, and professional support before, during, and after our wedding. The outdoor ceremony in the woods was simply magical and unique. The Eventhof itself is beautifully designed and run with passion. If you're looking for a truly special place for your wedding and want to be authentically, warmly, and personally supported, this is the perfect spot.

Very nice venue for renting for celebrations (wedding, birthday,....). Lots of space - nice covered area with seating. Large dance floor and plenty of seating inside in a cozy atmosphere. The whole place is wooden. The venue is spacious for many ideas. Downside: Indoor seating is upstairs, food is downstairs. Not ideal for people with disabilities or strollers. You have to take care of everything yourself (caterer, decorations....) I was there for a wedding celebration. It was truly a successful and beautiful day. Would love to come back.

We celebrated our wedding at the Eventhof, and the location with the option for a forest wedding is simply dreamy. The courtyard and the rooms are designed with great attention to detail and also gave us the opportunity to decorate it individually. From the very beginning, we were supported by Sabrina and Alexander in planning our wedding. They took a lot of time to make our day perfect, and we always felt understood and supported. On the wedding day, everything went smoothly and professionally, which thrilled us and our guests. We also want to give special praise to the friendly and competent service team at the Eventhof. They are a super well-coordinated team and always very accommodating. Thank you so much for this beautiful and unforgettable day! Best regards, Kathleen & Johannes

A beautiful location with a great option for an outdoor ceremony in the woods. Simply dreamy! The venue itself offers fantastic possibilities both indoors and outdoors. As a photographer, I found the team to be super professional and very friendly. My couple also felt very well taken care of.

I find it hard to understand the reviews here. Maybe it's good for weddings, but we were four people at the wine event on September 13th. We were taken to our table by the owner, friendly yes, but not really eloquent. The flyer mentioned chill beats - instead, there was a self-absorbed guy wearing sunglasses inside playing the piano. The food and wine were good quality but way too expensive. I couldn't find the Mediterranean flair in the courtyard either. Maybe it's nice for the upper-class wannabes from the village, but for us, it was the first and last visit.
