Calls itself an active seniors' meeting place, but is open to all age groups and wheelchair accessible. There are courses and events, often led by volunteers. Sporty "hikes," bike tours, the bowling alley is "challenging." Management has come to an unpleasant end; the 20 café events per year, mostly with music, clothing swaps, and repair cafés, are no longer available. Corona also robbed us of Mrs. Hirsch, who enriched "Weiden in the past" with much warmth. Films, theater; unfortunately, concerts have become less frequent. Choir, string groups, handicrafts, painting (monthly exhibition on the 2nd floor/foyer), pottery, carpentry, Schafkopf, traffic, and health. The PC meeting was discontinued because, after connecting via Wi-Fi, nine laptops first updated Windows, browsers, and apps, and pages loaded as if from a modem, and nothing was improved. It's a shame, as the manager had put a lot of effort into it. Tours of city facilities are also always interesting.
